The first CleanSky ITN summer school, held in Göttingen in September 2015, was a big success. Approximately 50 guests took part in a series of theoretical and practical sessions that framed a workshop on transferable research skills. The program featured many internationally reknown speakers, as, for example, Jon Crowcroft (University of Cambridge), Yongguang Zhang (Microsoft Research) and Stefan Schmid (Deutsche Telekom Laboratories). In a comprehensive social program, CleanSky fellows were able to meet each other for the first time in person.
